So instead of writing – today I was blessed with the pleasure of getting to clean the whole house! And it sucked… My hands are all dried up and now look like my grandmothers (she’s 88). Unfortunately this may be the only real writing that gets done today. It is now 4:32pm, my husband is on his way home and my mother needs to switch vehicles with me – because she swears the transmission is about to fall out of the other car she already borrowed from me last week. If you are going to sell your vehicle do it when your new one has arrived to the car lot!
So enough of the bitch-fest, now it’s on to “hmm whats for dinner?” Yep, I in all of my joy of cleaning completely forgot to take the meat out of the freezer. Guess it’s pizza night…. And there goes my attempt to take off this 5 bls that I put on. So for now I will say goodnight (unless I get left alone later this evening – ha ya right!)
I haven’t been a good girl… I have found everything I possibly can to keep me from writing, doing homework or blogging! But I’m back, finished up some homework – wrote a few pages, tweaked a couple of the characters (that were well lets just say – too whinny) and set up a new blog project. The Wedding Planner Diaries! This will be a collection of stories from wedding planners (even those that are non-professional wedding planners) dealing with unruly and inconsiderate Mothers, Mother-In-Laws and Grandmothers of the Bride.
As my readers know I am a mother of a soon to be bride, and desprately trying not to be “One of Those” mothers. I am blessed with getting first hand experience with “One of Those” Grandmothers, although at times it has been frustrating for myself and my daughter, it has also been amusing. Amusing that someone can make an event that has nothing to do with them, all about THEM! So far the wedding planning has ended badly on those days that the grandmother has joined in the ordeal of planning. But I decided to turn it into something fun, enjoyable for others and a learning experience (of what not to do maybe?).
For today I will call it quits and look forward to yet another day at the flower shops tomorrow (with grandma in tow!).
So after spending most of the morning having to debate my daughters wedding planning with the ex-husband/deadbeat dad (through my daughter) I have decided to add the ex-husbands character to my latest book. This way I can spend a chapter stalking, terrorizing and then the final act of murdering him legally! This act will be in detail, violent and very bloody. Man I hope it makes me feel better…
